8/1/10 - We know it is yearling time, but our broodmare sales have had good results recently too. We sold the dams of Fourstardave G2 stakes placed Public Speaker and Grade 3 Ohio Derby stakes placed Capitol Appeal. Both stakes placed horses were in utero at the time of sale. We also sold the dam of sparkling Saratoga MSW and TDN Rising Star, Wine Police. She was sold as a broodmare prospect. Across the country at Del Mar, sharp allowance winner Subsidized was a Four Star graduate at Keeneland September 2008, and the mare was subsequently sold by Four Star in foal to Giant’s Causeway at Keeneland November 2007 to BBA Ireland.
